The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in The State of New Jersey (NSCDA-NJ) offers internship programs at Peachfield in Westampton, and the Old Schoolhouse in Mount Holly, throughout the year. These programs are designed for high school and college level students interested in learned more about any one, or more, of the following topics: history, education, communications, material culture, landscape design, linguistics, nonprofit administration, architectural design, historic preservation or a related field.
Each program is available for internship credit. All applicants are asked to provide internship, practicum, or volunteer hour paperwork upon applying for a position with NSCDA-NJ, if they wish to count the program towards credit hours.
At present there are no current internship programs available. If high school and college level students would like to complete volunteer hours with Peachfield or the Old Schooolhouse, outside of available internship programs, please call 609-267-6996.
