Hours

Due to limited staffing we are only available to provide tours upon request for select weekday and weekend hours.
To schedule a tour, please email us at staff@peachfield.org.

We strongly recommending calling or emailing us ahead for an appointment, as we are currently only able to conduct one, small group tour at a time. Tours take approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

$10 for adults
$5 for children 6+, K-12 students, and seniors 65+
Free admission for members of the Friends of Peachfield

Group Tours

Peachfield and The Old Schoolhouse welcomes tour groups and operators. Special arrangements can be made for any length visit or in coordination with visits to other sites in the area. Please contact us for further information. A special discounted rate of $5 per person will apply to groups of 10 or more.

Research

Peachfield’s collections and archives are open by appointment to students and scholars with specialized areas of interest in 18th century decorative arts, colonial and colonial revival architecture, and history. Please phone or e-mail us at staff@peachfield.org for further information or to schedule an appointment.

Blue Star Museums

Peachfield and The Old Schoolhouse are Blue Star Museums. All active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve, get free admission between Memorial Day through Labor Day (we are closed on Memorial Day and Labor Day.)

Directions

To Peachfield:
From north or south on Interstate 295, take Exit 47, Rt. 541 south/east toward Mount Holly.  Go 2.2 miles through 5 traffic lights to the 6th light (Burrs Road).  Take right jug handle to turn on to Burrs Road, Rt. 638 north.  OR From north or south on NJ Turnpike, take Exit 5. Turn right after exit onto Rt. 541 toward Mount Holly. Proceed to right jug handle at next light (Burrs Road Rt. 638).  Peachfield is located 2.1 miles on the left just beyond the Burlington Country Club.  A white sign marks the entrance.

To The Old Schoolhouse:
From I-295 (Exit 47) or New Jersey Turnpike (Exit 5), proceed on Rte 541 toward Mount Holly. Rte 541 becomes High Street once you reach the town. After crossing Garden Street/Rancocas Road (light), Brainerd Street is the first street on the left. The Old Schoolhouse is marked and located next to the Methodist Church on the left. Parking is available in the church parking lot on the Schoolhouse side.

Accessibility Information

Individuals with physical disabilities may park next to the flagstone garden at the back of the house, where there is a brick paved walkway connecting to ramp access in the rear of the house. A docent or staff member will meet you for your program or tour. Unfortunately, there is no elevator access to the second floor of the house.

We are currently working toward making ASL interpretation and language translation in Spanish, French, and Mandarin available. Individuals interested in providing these services at Peachfield and the Old Schoolhouse may contact us at programs@peachfield.org.
