We invite you to join the Friends of Peachfield this season.

The Friends of Peachfield supports the programming, interpretation, and research of the two historic sites under the stewardship of The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in The State of New Jersey (NSCDA-NJ).

Peachfield is an early 18th century plantation house built by the Burr family in 1725, located in Westampton, NJ. It was rebuilt in 1930 in the colonial revival style by Mrs. Miriam Harker.  The Old Schoolhouse in Mount Holly, NJ dates back to 1759 and is the oldest one-room schoolhouse in the State of New Jersey.

The NSCDA-NJ actively preserves and interprets Peachfield and The Old Schoolhouse, and works to preserve the buildings, lands, and collections to enrich and enlighten a diverse public. These properties tell a story of change in architectural, agricultural, and educational values through time. Public programs offered at Peachfield and The Old Schoolhouse have focused on colonial history, New Jersey history, agricultural and architectural history, women’s history, and Quaker history.

Membership is open to individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations, and is valid for one program-calendar year (September – August). Memberships purchased after March 1 are extended through the following season.
