Hands-On Workshops

Reservations are required for our workshops, and costs vary by event. Guests may reserve online using the links below or by mail. George Washington’s Ice Cream

Sunday, April 18, 2026 2:00-4:00 pm Susan Plaisted of Heart to Hearth Cookery prepares an original 18th century ice cream receipt (recipe) using her reproduction pewter sabotiere. The visitors participate in preparing the ice, turning the sabotiere, and having just a taste.
